Single Malt Whisky Shizuoka Pot Still W Pure Japanese Barley 2024 is a limited cask-strength Japanese single malt produced by Gaia Flow Shizuoka Distillery, bottled at robust 55.5% ABV in a compact 500ml 2024 annual release crafted entirely from domestic Japanese barley. Its aroma delivers bright fresh rice malt sweetness, juicy green pear, subtle yuzu citrus, delicate floral honey, light vanilla custard and soft herbal mountain botanicals unique to Shizuoka’s terroir, with no heavy peat or harsh smoke. The palate presents concentrated bright orchard fruit upfront, viscous silky malt body, restrained gentle oak tannins and faint nutty almond creaminess amplified by full cask strength. It features a medium lingering elegant finish of fresh citrus blossom honey, crisp white stone fruit and mild warm vanilla oak sweetness.
