Hakushu Story of the Distillery 2024 Edition is an official limited Japanese forest single malt from Hakushu Distillery, bottled at 43% ABV in a standard 700ml bottle, released as the 2024 annual special distillery commemorative bottling. Its aroma unfolds fresh green apple, crisp pine forest foliage, soft mint herbal notes, delicate white floral honey and subtle light vanilla oak sweetness. The palate delivers bright fresh orchard fruit sweetness, gentle woodland herbal freshness, smooth creamy malt core and mild polished oak spice, leading to a clean medium-length finish of lingering green fruit, pine and faint floral malt sweetness. This elegant forest-style Japanese malt is ideal neat, on the rocks or in light highballs, showcasing Hakushu’s signature crisp, fresh mountain woodland terroir character.
