Hogshead Indie Blended Scotch 24 Years 1999 is an ultra-mature independent bottling blended Scotch whisky selected by Hogshead Imports, bottled at 44.1% ABV in a standard 700ml bottle, distilled in 1999 and aged for twenty-four full years. Its aroma unfolds rich dried dark berries, smooth butter caramel, subtle aged wood spice, honeyed grain malt and polished vanilla oak. The palate balances concentrated stewed fruit sweetness, velvety cereal malt depth, soft well-rounded tannins and faint roasted walnut notes, leading to an exceptionally long silky finish of toffee and lingering preserved orchard fruit. This deeply aged independent blend rewards neat slow sipping, with a tiny splash of spring water drawing out its complex twenty-four-year oak and malt layers.
