Centenary Umeshu Whisky Cask Matured is a Japanese plum liqueur jointly crafted by Meiri Shurui and Takazo Distillery, bottled at 18% ABV in a standard 700ml bottle. After traditional umeshu brewing, it ages inside used whisky casks to absorb soft malt and oak notes. Its aroma blends bright fresh sour plum, subtle honeyed malt, light vanilla and gentle wood spice. The palate delivers juicy sweet-sour ume fruit balanced with mild creamy whisky malt, without sharp alcohol heat, leading to a soft fruity finish touched by faint oak. This low-alcohol fruit liqueur is perfect served chilled, on ice or mixed into light fruity cocktails for smooth, approachable sipping.
