Distilled in 2009 and matured fifteen full years in hand-selected oak casks, this limited Meowseum series bottling delivers classic smoky coastal Islay character amplified by natural high cask strength. The nose bursts with medicinal peat smoke, sea salt brine, ripe dark citrus, iodine and warm charred vanilla oak. On the palate, it is dense and full-bodied, featuring smoldering peat, briny minerality, dark lemon peel, dried seaweed and restrained charred wood tannins. The long warming finish lingers with persistent smoky salinity and subtle lingering citrus spice, showcasing powerful authentic Islay malt profile.
