Ballechin 20 Year Old 2004 Port Pipe is a peated Highland single malt from official distillery bottling, cask strength at 54.7% ABV in standard 700ml format, distilled in 2004 and fully matured within a single ex-port wine pipe cask. The nose delivers soft smoky malt, ripe dark berry fruits, rich port wine sweetness, dried dark fruit and subtle warm spiced oak. On the palate, it is full-bodied and well-balanced, with lush dark-fruit port brightness, layered gentle peat and wine-infused oak complexity and an exceptionally long warm lingering finish. The finish highlights Ballechin’s signature soft peat intertwined with rich dried red fruit port character of rare long-aged single port cask distillery release.
