Tasting Notes
The producer's botanical description points to chamomile, mint and marjoram alongside lemon balm, fennel seed, wormwood and a resinous contribution from pine cones. This is an ingredient-led guide to its herbal character, rather than an independent nose, palate and finish assessment.
Fresh Infusions and Botanical Distillation
According to Vecchio Magazzino Doganale, chamomile, mint and marjoram are hand-picked and infused separately while fresh. Other herbs are distilled as part of a partly undisclosed recipe. Japanese importer M Co., Ltd. also highlights the pine-cone resin component and the producer's Calabrian botanical sourcing.
