BB&R Ardmore 11 Years Old 2011 is a cask-strength Highland single malt independently bottled by Berry Bros. & Rudd, released at potent 60.1% ABV in a standard 700ml bottle. Eleven years of oak maturation delivers earthy smoked barley, bright green orchard fruit, creamy vanilla toffee, subtle peat smoke, polished light oak and faint herbal mineral undertones characteristic of Ardmore’s peated distillate. The nose unfolds with soft smoldering malt smoke, fresh pear compote and gentle warm barrel wood sweetness. The palate balances silky fruity malt brightness with restrained peat depth, faint citrus zest and tightly structured rounded tannins. Its medium warming finish holds lingering light smoke and fresh grassy herbal whispers. Best savoured neat with a small splash of spring water to temper its high strength and unlock layered peated Highland malt complexity.
