AD Rattray Williamson 13 Years 2010 is an independent cask-strength peated Islay single malt bottled by A.D. Rattray at 53.7% ABV in a standard 700ml bottle. Distilled in 2010 and matured for thirteen years at an undisclosed Islay distillery under the Williamson label, it delivers bold coastal smoke balanced by ripe fruit and oak depth. Its aroma bursts with medicinal peat smoke, briny sea salt, smoked seaweed, dark dried fruit, vanilla custard and subtle dark chocolate. Full-bodied and powerful on the palate, intense smoky phenol layers mingle with ripe blackberry, dried fig, firm toasted oak tannins and faint liquorice spice. It features an exceptionally long, smoky finish with lingering saline peat and dark sweet fruit notes, a robust limited independent bottling showcasing mature peated Islay complexity.
