In 2024, due to the late frost on May 10th, the new buds of Merlot, which usually suffers little damage, withered and the harvest amount was reduced to about 30%.
Furthermore, the weather in the latter half of the year was not so good and the ripeness was not as good, but the conditions were very good and we were able to harvest beautiful grapes.
30% new barrels, aged for approximately 13 months in barrels, and aged in bottles for 4 months before release.
The name of the wine was chosen to honor the grapes that survived the late frost. This is a dry red wine with aromas of black fruits such as blackberry and cassis, and aromas and spices from the barrel, with firm acidity and gentle astringency.
